Project Overview

The first restaurant of the Happy Bar & Grill chain was opened in Varna, the sea pearl of Bulgaria in 1994 and now opens its newest location in Piccadilly Circus, London, UK. Carter Group was engaged to design and install the fire and security systems in compliance with British Standards.

Experience

Carter Group was pleased to successfully complete this installation working closely with the Principal Contractor. Our team provided the full system design proposal, installation and commissioning of a new addressable fire alarm system controlled by Advance Mx Pro 5 and Grade 3 intruder alarm system controlled by Texecom Premier Elite. Within the busy retail industry we believe that systems should be user-friendly without compromising on performance and it is key for staff to have a good understanding of the basic operation of any security and lifesaving warning systems within the premises. Our commissioning process includes a thorough system demonstration, staff training and handover to ensure that the system is used correctly to meet its intended purpose to the British Standards and insurance requirements and reduces unnecessary callouts for user error.
